Robotics Sales Representative (Toledo, OH / Detroit, MI)

What will you be doing?

Do you want to work for a purposeful company that enables others to live a #LifeUnlimited? As a Robotics Sales Representative, you will own the clinical sale of the CORI surgical robot in partnership with the Reconstruction Sales Representative and the Robotics Regional Manager by hunting capital sales opportunities and driving strategic sales channels to the C-suite, hospital administration and IDNs. You will lead demonstrations to prospective surgeons with the support of the Robotics business development team in your territory, ensuring successful CORI launches with new and existing customers.

What will you need to be successful?

The foundation of your success relies on becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio and using your expertise to build surgeon champions through technical training pathways. Your ability to build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), key staff, hospital administration & C-Suite improves access to customers to provide data-driven, trusted solutions in partnership with your Reconstruction Sales teams in your territory. You will also develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.

Collaborative and dedicated teammates committed to networking and partnering with all Smith+Nephew Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, and business development counterparts in the region to discover and close sales opportunities

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Prefers a minimum (2) two years sales experience in a technical sales position or in the medical device industry

Preferred experience selling orthopaedics devices, surgical roboticsor capital equipment

Proven track record to sell or convert business at the surgeon or hospital level

Travel Requirements: within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a week. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences

All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
