Your role.

The DEI Senior Consultant will: analyze, design, develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate strategic programs and initiatives that attract, recruit, retain, and promote diverse talent, create equitable opportunities as needed, and support an inclusive environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



Project Planning and Execution:

Work with the DEI Manager to:
Implement short and long-term DEI strategy in alignment with firm goals
Assist with project plans including gaining support from key stakeholders, identifying the appropriate project team members, defining and staying true to stated objectives, setting timelines with reasonable time for review and buy-in, and executing a well-vetted and developed project

Work with the DEI team to create/provide practical tools and recommendations for turning best practices into realistic deliverables
Work with the DEI team and SRG fellows to engage and support Staff Resource Groups (SRGs), including assisting SRG staff and partner champions in setting, executing, reporting, and evaluating annual goals, activities and budgets, leadership transitions, and staff matters
Participate in various firm DEI programs and projects, including leading programs and projects when applicable

Work with appropriate project leaders to:

Consult on strategies and partnerships for recruiting and developing staff
Create DEI learning and development content that can be utilized across the firm for various needs within the broader DEI strategy and L&D programming
Enhance current firm training content and delivery methods
Facilitate DEI-related training and material to various internal and external audiences
Provide subject matter expertise on DEI best practices, across the diversity spectrum
Identify and strategically engage with various community and client organizations within our geographic footprint
Compile, analyze, and report on data as it relates to DEI strategies, programs, and projects
Work with DEI Manager and Marketing to develop and post DEI communications firmwide and update proposal content
Work with HR team in support personnel matters involving DEI

The qualifications.

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, learning and development, organizational behavior, or similar degree
4+ years of experience in the DEI spectrum including experience in DEI Program Management, Human Resources, DEI Learning and Development, or Organizational Development
Demonstrated project management of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs or initiatives
Professional Services firm experience is a plus
Approximately 15% travel throughout the Plante Moran US offices

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information




Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.




Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.




Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$6,750.00 to $10,083.33




We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
