Description

This position will require travel as it will support clinics at main campus (downtown), Mayfield Heights and Westlake.

Position Summary/Essential Duties:

1. Assists healthcare providers in the ambulatory setting.

2. Obtain patient past and present ocular and general medical history.

3. Perform visual acuity.

4. Perform diagnostic testing under the supervison of physicians and techs. These tests include visual field testing, keratometry, pachymetry, intraocular pressure check.

5. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.

6. Uses interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other customers.

7. Provides age specific care to patients from toddlers through elderly.

8. Scribing for Physician.

9. Provide other patient services and education as requested by the physicians.
