Basic Purpose

The Sales SupportRepresentativewill be responsible for providing excellent customer service, support, and administrative support for Account Managers. The Sales Support Representative will reduce Sales Account Manager (AM) administrative tasks allowing for more time spent with customer facing activity, driving more growth opportunities and new business development.

The role is responsible for inputting and maintaining data, price management, document management, customer updates and inputs, creating sales analytics and tracking tools, and assisting with reporting needs for an assigned group of sellers or region. These activities are to be managed in accordance with the company's goals of safety, compliance, financial performance, inventory controls and customer service. The Customer Solutions Representative position is a highly interactive with peers in many other functions of the business.

Description of Primary Responsibilities

Account Management & Maintenance

SAP Account maintenance via MDG (name, address, ship-to locations, HQ relations, contacts)

SFDC customer Account data management (assure it matches SAP)

SFDC lead and prospect creation and management.

Includes merging with SAP customer account, once created.

Contact Management & Maintenance

SAP contact management & maintenance

Management & maintenance of customer contact details in SFDC (assure they match SAP)

Price entry and management via end-to-end neXprice process

Includes price letter management (automated or manual)

Logs customer/prospect sales call details in SFDC including calendar event entry and post-call call logging and follow up tasks.

Opportunity entry and maintenance of pipeline health and hygiene

Other SFDC duties include creation and maintenance of various records: consumption, payment terms requests, contracts, CDFs, reports/dashboards, and SRD information.

Forecast management via CLF reporting and creation of CDF and forecast updates (via manual update to Network Planning)

Assist with CPI management in SAP & neXprice (including cleanliness of active records as well as CPI End Market & OEM data management)

Customer annual quality survey requests

Document and Regulatory request management including but not limited to TDS, SDS, Compliance Documents, REACH and ROHS, Exports, HAPS/HAPA, Supplier Healthcare Forms, ISO Certs, IMDS Requests, PPAP Requests.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)

Associate degree required or equivalent work experience in customer support environment.

2+ years of customer support experience

Proven customer service experience in a business to business (B2B) environment a plus.

Demonstrated ability to execute results and meet critical timelines.

Experience in a distribution or chemicals, plastics, ES environment a plus.

Proficiency with the MS Office package (Outlook, Excel, TEAMs, PowerPoint) preferred.

SAP(or other ERP systems)and Salesforceexperience a plus.

Experience working in a fast pace; high volume environment.

Customer service oriented.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability prioritize and manage time effectively.

Plastics product and/or market knowledge a plus.

Critical Thinking for problem solving customer needs.
