Warehouseman Relief employees operate Forklifts in a safe and responsible manner while performing functions in the warehouse.


Position is considered "safety sensitive" which requires the passing of an independently administered drug screen


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION


Drive and operate forklift
Replace picking and consolidating personnel during their breaks/lunch.
Ensure continuous operation for each pick group.
Complete other picking assignments (private label; default; repacks) as instructed by manager/supervisor when not in relief role.
Be very attentive to any foreign object, or damage salad bag. Notify your Supervisor immediately.
Able to work around equipment and machinery.
Must be able to perform all functions as a shipping forklift operator, includes pick line function.
Able to work around equipment and machinery.
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Required Skills

For this role, you want to dress warm! You would be working in a cool environment with an average temperature of 34F. The work surfaces and floors may be wet and you would be working around different types of chemicals. There is a lot going on, like moving machinery, including conveyors and forklifts that are in operation in the immediate area, so noise levels are high. And we've got you covered! Safety is ALWAYS first, so we have protocols and protective equipment to help you be able to get the job done.


Should be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Previous Forklift experience is preferred.
Ability to work overtime including weekends as required

Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. (Notification required due to the

Americans with Disabilities Act). Able to work in a cold environment (34-35 degrees on Plant floor).

High School Diploma or Equivalent


Experience in a food processing environment helpful but not required - we will train


Ability to work weekends and overtime based on coverage needs


Ability to bend, stoop and move up to 50 pounds
