Responsibilities:


Support senior engineers by performing specific and limited portions of their more broad assignments.
Provide support for design projects including collection systems, pumping and treatment systems, environmental compliance, permitting, water/wastewater utilities, and stormwater management.
Perform design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work.
Assist in the design and production of engineering reports, construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications for the delivery of projects.
Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project.
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without immediate and constant supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:


B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
M.S. in Environmental or Civil Engineering preferred but not required.
CO-OP or Internship experience is a plus.
EIT certification in Kentucky or Ohio or an ability to obtain EIT within 6 months of start date is required.
0- 4 years experience in environmental/water resources engineering consulting for local government/municipal or industrial clients.
Preferred understanding and knowledge of Civil 3D and/or REVIT for production.
