Job Description: Will be responsible for assisting customers and handling/recording sales on the front register at time of purchase in local merchandise store.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use a cash register to ring out sales.
- Will pleasantly interact with customers.
- Verify pricing for items.
- Process refunds when necessary.
- Wrap or package sold items.
- Apply discounts when called for.
- Keep counter and sales area clear.
- Maintain record of sales.
Qualifications: Must possess a HS Diploma/Equivalent. No experience required; company will train. Must have a good understanding of computation/arithmetic, possess a friendly disposition, have a good knowledge of business inventory. Must have attention to detail and computer skills to operate cash register. Must be able to do light lifting up to 20 pounds and be physically able to do frequent stooping.
Details:
- This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
- Workdays are Monday through Saturday, First Shift, 10:30am to 7pm.
- Starting Wage: $12.50 per hour
