Reiter Dairy has immediate job opening for a Custodian. Reiter Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition office or similar buildings and all required areas within the facility.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, restrooms, employee common areas and office space.
Empties trash and garbage containers.
Notifies supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience preferred but not required.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
Must be able to work in a wet environment.
May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
May have exposure to nut allergens.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal).
