About the Opportunity




DMI, LLC is seeking a Manager, Expense Management at DMI is responsible for establishing and managing the processes and procedures that support our Expense Management service offering. This includes overseeing a team of Expense Analysts, optimizing telecom charges, streamlining bill payment processes, and ensuring accurate allocation of costs to various customer departments and projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency, reducing expenses, and ensuring cost transparency for our clients.



Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Process and Procedure Development:

Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for Expense Management services.
Design workflows for the optimization of telecom charges, efficient bill payment, and accurate cost allocation.
Continuously improve and update processes to meet industry best practices.

2. Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Expense Analysts.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Monitor team performance, set goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.

3. Telecom Expense Optimization:

Identify opportunities to reduce telecom expenses through thorough analysis and negotiations with service providers.
Ensure compliance with customer contracts and optimize service plans based on usage and needs.

4. Bill Payment and Cost Allocation:

Oversee the timely and accurate payment of bills related to telecom services and other expenses.
Implement allocation methods to distribute costs appropriately among different departments and projects.

5. Customer Communication:

Collaborate with customers to understand their expense management needs and objectives.
Provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations to customers on cost-saving opportunities and expense trends.

6. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Generate reports and analytics to track expense management performance and cost savings.


Qualifications




Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
Proven experience in expense management, telecom expense optimization, or related roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in expense management software and tools.
Effective communication and client-facing skills.
Knowledge of telecom services and billing practices is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing client needs and industry trends.
