Your Opportunity as the Manager, Procurement Capability & Analytics
This position is responsible for leading a procurement organizational capability and initiative management primarily focused on process and technology. Works with managers to identify needs and match procurement specific needs with technology or process improvement to drive business results. Supports capability development and standardization across the procurement function. This role is responsible for the program management and roll-out for leading procurement initiatives such as SRM, supplier segmentation, procurement technology, advanced analytics, support of procurement initiative roadmap development, and the like.
Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectation
Expected to be on-campus during "core week" days - estimated 6 per month
In this role you will:
Work with departmental leadership category teams to determine strategic and tactical skill procurement capability development needs
Manage Non-integrated Procurement Technology systems including implementations, ongoing data refreshes, updates/upgrades, maximize utilization, and training
Work with manager to benchmark/assess Smucker procurement vs. peer and/or competitive procurement organizations. Research and implement procurement best practices and new capabilities, including automation, and dashboarding. Supports the development and management a multi-year strategic roadmap for key procurement strategic competencies or initiatives.
Lead the roll-out and coordination of key departmental initiatives to establish, communicate, and measure team performance using KPIs, process of continuous improvement, data-driven insights, and performance management.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience procurement technology management and implementation, project management, and/or technical/analytics role
1-3+ years of people management experience
Experience with supply chain and manufacturing processes, such as inventory management, planning and scheduling, procurement, supplier relationship management, transportation management, and item/supplier master data management
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Subject matter expert of systems and processes within procurement including strong project management and initiative management capability
Strategic thinking capability
Ability to organize information in platform systems & information management systems
Strong ability to connect with others both within and outside of the company.
