Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Instructor to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.
Typical Hours/Days of Work: Varied with each semester due to courses and office hours.
Location: Our faculty have the opportunity to instruct in North Canton and Akron Campus.
Pay: $43,372 - $56,383, commensurate with experience.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

Deliver engaging and effective instruction in various mathematics courses and demonstrates effective communication skills.Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our student body.Implement innovative teaching methodologies and integrate technology to enhance the learning experience.Contribute to curriculum development and assessment activities.Provide academic advisement and support to students.Assist with department activities to promote the success of Stark State College.

To be Considered You'll Need:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to student success and the mission of Stark State CollegeMaster's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution.Candidate will be expected to possess a high level of proficiency in the English language. This proficiency is essential for effective communication, instruction, and interaction with students and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications (although not required):
Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
