As the SAP BASIS Support Manager, the role will lead a team of SAP BASIS specialists to ensure the stability, performance, and security of Sun's SAP landscape. This role involves overseeing the administration of SAP systems, managing SAP NetWeaver components, and leveraging SAP HANA technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BASIS management, a deep understanding of NetWeaver, and proficiency in SAP HANA administration.

Team Leadership:

* Lead and mentor a team of SAP BASIS Support Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

* Provide guidance on SAP best practices, project management, and professional development.

SAP BASIS Administration:

* Oversee day-to-day SAP BASIS administration tasks, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

* Manage SAP instances, systems, and landscapes to ensure optimal performance and availability.

* Ensure timely application of patches, upgrades, and support packs across SAP landscapes.

NetWeaver and SAP HANA Expertise:

* Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SAP NetWeaver components and SAP HANA administration.

* Develop and implement strategies for optimizing NetWeaver and SAP HANA performance.

System Landscape Management:

* Plan and execute the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP landscapes, considering scalability and business requirements.

* Coordinate system refreshes, copies, and migrations.

* Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Security and Compliance:

* Establish and enforce SAP security policies, user authorizations, and compliance standards.

* Conduct regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

* Implement monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance issues.

* Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize hardware and network resources.

Incident and Change Management:

* Lead incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

* Manage change control processes for SAP landscapes, minimizing business impact.

Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:

* Work closely with SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to understand and address business requirements.

* Collaborate with external vendors, SAP support, and business stakeholders to address system-related challenges.

* Ensure effective communication and alignment between SAP BASIS and other IT teams.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical field, or relevant work experience in lieu of formal education.

Extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a focus on NetWeaver and SAP HANA.

Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing a team.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

SAP certifications in BASIS, NetWeaver, and HANA are highly desirable.
