Overview
Spearheads the creation of Community Resource Centers and School Health Partnerships across Ohio's 32 Appalachian counties, integrating health, education, and workforce elements to bolster underserved communities. Forge crucial partnerships, both internal and external, to expedite the progress of these centers, collaborating closely with schools and local stakeholders to integrate student services and devise tailored community solutions. Coordinate school-based health initiatives, optimizing outcomes through partnership cultivation, data-driven frameworks, and strategic community engagement, assisting the Strategic Initiatives Manager and School Health Project Manager in program evaluation and grant management within School Health Services.

Responsibilities
* Manages community wellness school-based projects and programs, building community partnerships and setting goals to achieve desired outcomes. Leads planning and implementation for Community Learning Center models in Ohio's Appalachian counties in conjunction with School Health Services consultation and professional development work and Appalachian Children's Coalition (ACC).
* Serves as a point of contact with the ACC, representing the organization and its advocacy priorities. Facilitates connections between ACC, Nationwide Children's Hospital School Health Services and community organizations.
* Identifies grant funding opportunities to support programming for Community Resource Centers and School Health. Collaborates with key personnel to write and submit grant proposals.
* Collaborates with education partners to ensure supports are integrated and aligned with school priorities and resources.
* Monitors budget and project expenditures for the design and implementation of Community Resource Centers and school health models.
* Oversees the evaluation of projects by utilizing data analysis and data management tools. Disseminates project reports to key stakeholders.
* Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of community, state and national trends in related fields (e.g., community resource centers, school health, telehealth regulations, Medicaid billing changes)
* Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Communicates effectively with internal multi-disciplinary teams, external community leaders, patients & their families to resolve problems and provide quality service.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree, required.
* Master's Degree preferred.
Skills:
* Ability to operate and initiate independently, with skill in promoting multidisciplinary collaboration.
* Strong organizational skills, required.
* Adaptable mindset, with sensitivity to the needs of the Appalachian community being served by the Community Resource Centers and school health services broadly.
Experience:
* Three years of experience in project/program management and leadership, preferred.
* Three years of experience in school, preferred.
* Experience working within Appalachian community settings preferred.
