What do our Training Manager's do ?

The Steritech Training Manager plans, develops, implements and administers development and training programs for company employees. The Senior Manager also acts as liaison and adviser to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing and measuring training across the entire Steritech business. The person in this position will be accountable for continuously improving and driving consistency of all BSB training including specialist field training and all other functional training.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Training (Quality and Process - Rentokil NA (Steritech Brand Standards business))
Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
Designs, develops, and executes high-quality, effective training programs for the Steritech business.
Implements processes to gauge the effectiveness of training objectives and accomplishments.
Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
Collects, organizes and communicates data to illustrate the state of the training program.
Collaborates with cross-functional business partners to implement Training and Organizational Development Strategy.
Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
Defines direct measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides, and lesson plans.
Coaches and empowers team members to be strong future leaders in the organization.
Propose, refine and execute the future vision for the training function and organizational development at Steritech.
Define goals and measures for each component of the training function.
Supervise a direct team of 2 and a total team of 14.
Manage training design and implementation for all functions at Steritech.
Promote a culture where positive engagement during every assessment provides exceptional client operator experiences.
Build relationships across the business to enable collaboration and better decision-making.
Collect and track comprehensive data on training programs and initiatives.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the training function and create solutions that improve profitability or make work more efficient for our teams.
Analyze training data and report on trends and determine if processes are working well for the business or identify opportunities to make enhancements.
Create an atmosphere of inclusion by personally knowing colleagues' interests and motivations to enable better performance and better business results.
Identify and clarify problems, evaluate potential solutions, and break down roadblocks that may be impediments to achieving goals.
Facilitate a positive, supportive, growth-oriented and inclusive work environment that promotes compassion, fairness, and consistency.
Lead special projects depending on business needs.
Other duties as assigned.

What do you need?

Bachelor's degree relating to corporate training, training design or organizational development.
5+ years experience in leading, designing and implementing effective corporation-wide training programs.
Experience supporting different districts/areas of the business at once. - preferred
Experience working with large amounts of data. - preferred
Experience with presenting data to the Leadership team. - preferred
Experience managing large projects. - preferred
Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all colleague performance and development decisions.
Strong abilities in root cause analysis and identifying and providing effective solutions regarding employee professional development.
Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and superior customer service.
Ability to work independently setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read situations, adjust, and influence others.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritizing skills; ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to articulate ideas and recommendations based on assessment data and observations, utilizing knowledge of best practices for improved performance.
Proficiency in Google applications (docs, sheets, calendar, drive, etc) and Microsoft products (Excel, Powerpoint).
Travel by Car and Airplane up to 50% of the time depending on geographic location.
Must pass pre-employment background screen.
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record search.
