Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The content marketing intern will assist the Marketing Communications content team in the implementation of a new Digital Asset Management tool, to provide easier access to digital assets for all our brands including logos, photos, illustrations, brochures, ads, sell sheets, and videos. The intern also will support marketing campaigns by researching and writing content for blog articles and creating content for emails and social media posts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Help with the execution of campaigns, including curating, researching, and/or writing blog articles;
Researching, writing, and editing copy for emails, e-newsletters, websites, and other marketing materials
Assisting with the development of social media content; monitoring and reporting on content performance; and other related duties.

This is an opportunity for an individual with excellent writing skills and an understanding of digital marketing principles who is highly motivated, results-driven, and interested in working as part of a team to gain valuable experience with a variety of content types and business objectives.

EDUCATION:


Rising juniors or seniors are preferred, but rising sophomores also will be considered.
Preferred majors: English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related course of study

EXPERIENCE:


Required software skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
Familiarity with social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and audiences
Familiarity with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools is a plus

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles
Good listener, eager to learn, and willing to ask questions
Interested in and able to write confidently about technical subjects
Ability to meet deadlines
Positive attitude and ability to receive constructive criticism with grace
Enjoys working cooperatively with other team members
Ability to provide writing samples
Detail-oriented and organized

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:


The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18.00 and $21.50, depending upon the academic year and prior experience/internships with the company (i.e. returning interns). This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law. All applicants must be available to work during the dates of the formal internship program which begins on June 3, 2024, and ends on August 8, 2024. Interns may work before and/or after the official program dates if desired and approved by the hiring manager.
