Job Description

This role is responsible for the development and oversight of Sherwin-Williams global transformation program strategic plan and roadmap. The role creates and maintains the company's transformation roadmap outlining key milestones, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The role involves high degrees of collaboration with various operational and functional stakeholders (Global Transformation Office, Business Leadership, Transformation Project/Initiative Leadership) to drive the success of the global transformation program and the realization of the company's transformation goals. This position will report to the open Strategy & Execution position

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Strategic Planning: Collaborate and develop a comprehensive global transformation strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
Roadmap Creation: Design a clear and detailed roadmap outlining key initiatives, milestones, and timelines for the transformation journey.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, ensure alignment, and address concerns throughout the transformation process.
Monitor and Report: Provide regular progress against the transformation roadmap; partner with larger team to provide status updates, and create reports for leadership (Executive Steering Committee and Global Transformation Office)
Continuous Improvement: Partner with Value Management and Global Process Owners to evaluate the effectiveness of the transformation initiatives and make adjustments as needed to enhance outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Sherwin-Williams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to the company's global transformation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:


Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science or a relevant field

Preferred:


Master's degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:


Previous experience in product management, consulting, or a related field

Preferred:


Knowledge of Sherwin-Williams business and operating model, including financial processes, value drivers, and business operations
Experience in global, large-scale transformation programs
Enterprise architecture best practices and principles

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:


Proficiency in product management and product roadmap creation
Ability to align value assessment with organizational goals and strategies, understanding the broader impact of transformation initiatives.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex messages, present recommendations, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Creative, high-energy, self-starter comfortable leading and executing initiatives and handling conflicting demands creatively and quickly.
