Marketing Technology Specialist

The Marketing Technology Specialist is an integral member of the marketing technology team, which supports Tyler Technologies' corporate and divisional strategic initiatives through data quality practices and marketing technology management, enhancements, and integrations.

The Marketing Technology Specialist will have a range of responsibilities, including marketing contact data management and hygiene, the prioritization and execution of campaign list operations, and assessing all points in which data enters the marketing technology stack. In this role, the Marketing Technology Specialist will have the opportunity to collaborate across many partner teams including field marketing teams to understand and identify contact demographics, the marketing campaign operations, and data teams to improve data processes, the legal team for data usage compliance, and the IT team for contact data governance.

Responsibilities



Collaborate with field marketing and marketing operations teams to build targeted lists of contacts for inclusion in outbound communications.
Work with others on the marketing technology team to identify and understand all points in which marketing contact data can enter the marketing technology stack.
Identify data gaps and work with partner teams to enrich and update marketing contact data.
Effectively prioritize and manage list build/data import requests for outbound campaign execution while ensuring contractual obligations for data usage.
Maintain and validate account-based lists within Tyler's Marketing Automation Platform (MAP)
Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze, cleanse, and integrate client/prospect data.
Collaborate with partner teams to create formal processes for (and continuously improve) data management practices for Tyler.
Collaborate with IT, sales enablement, and support counterparts on data governance and data quality.
Collaborate with privacy team to ensure Tyler's contact data usage is in compliance with the corporate privacy statement.
Assist in the review process for new marketing technology platforms with a data component.
Handle an array of ad hoc requests from the team and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 2-5 years of experience in processes supporting marketing data operations.
Experience with MAPs like Adobe Marketo Engage (preferred), Pardot, or HubSpot.
Experience with CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred) or Salesforce
Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
General knowledge and awareness of data privacy laws.
Strong project management and prioritization skills, while addressing dependent tasks and deadlines.
Strong presentation skills in terms of putting together slides and presenting the information.
Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations acting independently when needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Must be willing to work as part of a team and collaborate with team members within marketing, IT and sales enablement on larger projects.
Intellectual curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo.
Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle SQL.
