Responsibilities

Position Summary 
 
This twelve-week full-time summer internship program kicks off with an orientation and training session, led by our HR professionals. Our team members and mentors will help you navigate while continuing to learn about our businesses and HR functions. You will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a demanding environment. Access to senior management and a strong network of peers will promote ongoing professional development throughout the summer. Top performing interns may receive a full-time offer to join one of our HR functions. 
 
Job Responsibilities 
Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 
  • Assisting the Human Resources team by developing and applying skills to help increase efficiency and productivity   
  • Bring forward new business prospective and creative thinking on HR processes 
  • Analyze data sets to identify key insights and provide solutions  
  • Reporting projects and data findings to teams, managers and senior leaders  
  • Working closely with Talent Acquisition team on job postings and requisition management  
  • Building of sustainable relationships with internal business partners and providing support   
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs

Position Specifics

Qualifications 
 
Required
  • Exceptional analytical, research and project management skills 
  • Familiarity with HR fundamentals and principles (Course work and previous experience) 
  • Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge, specifically Outlook and Excel 
  • Ability to quickly solve problems on your own and with a team 
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a drive to succeed 
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to partner and work on a team 
  • Must be able to read, speak and write in English 
  • Attend college/university in the U.S. 
  • Working towards Human Resources, Business Management, and Communication related degree program require 
  • Expected graduation date of December 2024 – June 2025 from a bachelor’s program 
  • If hired, you must be able to demonstrate authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
