Job Description
Consumer Brands Group Marketing team is hiring a photo/video intern.
The time frame of this opportunity is year-round.
Position Responsibilities may include, but may not be limited to:
Project Planning
Work with creative development team, photographers, and brand managers/creative directors to find new ideas for various photoshoots
Work with Associate Creative Director of photography and video to find and pin ideas and props for various brand projects to Pinterest boards
Shopping for paint and props for photoshoots Painting
Help to prep and paint set walls
Help to spray paint items for Krylon photoshoots Styling
Help set up props in each set
Help steaming linens, arranging floral, etc. Modeling
Hold the brush/roller in shots - Stand-in or actual model as needed Photo Assistance
Assist photographers in setting up the props, camera equipment, etc. for our various brand photoshoots
Assist photographers in shooting
Assist photographers is setting up for various video shoots
Assist photographers with second camera at video shoots Post-production
Assist with file transfers, processing, batch conversions, etc.
Photoshop clean-up of files Technical Skills
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Current college student at the junior or senior level
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Basic photography skills, video skills an added plus
Command of Adobe suite, especially Photoshop, also Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Affects
Microsoft Office software suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to work an average of 20-24 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based around the candidate's school schedule and the opportunity to work more hours during the summer and school breaks
Preferred:
Prefer a photography or graphic design student
Some video and video editing experience is preferred
Some lifting is required
A car will be needed for some travel to photoshoot locations and for assistance with shopping for props
