Social Media Graphic Design Intern

About the Job

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Assist Social Graphic Designer in developing templated content for social media channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram (In-Feed, Reels, and Stories), TikTok, and Pinterest
Provide support in planning and executing video and photo shoots.
Collaborate with Creative and Social teams to develop new concepts that follow brand guidelines and trending designs on social channels.
Putting together presentations for bi-monthly content pitches.
Stay on top of both social and home design trends.
Sort through user-generated images and select photos our Creative team can use for future content.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:


Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Social Media, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:


Strong understanding of graphic design and experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Portfolio demonstrating previous digital design work and/or school projects.
Ability to take and implement constructive feedback.
Collaborative work style.

Preferred:


Experience working on a photo and/or video set.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:


Experience with design apps in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience with building out presentations in PowerPoint.

Preferred:


Experience with video apps in Adobe Creative Suite; Premiere and After Effects.
