The CX+EX Measurement & Insights team reports to the Director of Client & Employee Experience and manages quantitative and qualitative marketing research for the enterprise, including research design, research execution, analysis, actionable insight synthesis, and presentation creation. The team partners with and presents learnings and recommendations at all levels of the organization, including the executive and the CEO. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced market research professional with a proven background in delivering qualitative and quantitative primary market research and competitive intelligence for Consumer and B2B segments. This candidate will be a strategic partner for all business units across KeyBank, understanding priorities and uncovering opportunities where research can help inform strategies and improve experiences, ultimately driving better business performance.

The Research & Insights Manager role will manage research projects end to end, from ideation to insights delivery. To be successful, the candidate must be intellectually curious, excel at uncovering insights across large data sets and multiple studies, and create concise and compelling presentations. The role requires strong skills in project management, communication, and relationship building across all organizational levels. The right candidate will be able to work on multiple, diverse projects simultaneously, prioritize to meet a variety of deadlines/deliverable types in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Build relationships across the bank to stay in-tune with strategic priorities to uncover relevant research needs and then translate those needs into research projects.
Recommend, design and execute a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research projects, from planning through analysis, storytelling and presentation - adapting insights and/or positioning of findings to align to the audience that is consuming the information (doer vs. executive).
Connect the dots across multiple study learnings to drive out a rich perspective on where improvement opportunities lie.
Advise leadership and employees across the organization about our clients' current perceptions and gaps in experiences.
Proactively recommend new and innovative ways to enhance reporting of research results & insights.
Frequently seek to deepen understanding of current events and trends within financial services and the research industry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Economics, Social Sciences or other related discipline.

6+ years of Market Research experience or similar role related to the specific responsibilities of this position.

Deep hands-on expertise of quantitative and qualitative research methods; able to recommend appropriate methodologies.
Fluent and up-to-date with the latest marketing research trends, technologies and approaches.
Able to interpret complex data from multiple sources and then cohesively organize and present information in support of findings.
Able to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Goal-oriented self-starter with an intellectually curious mindset and a strong ability to think outside of the box and innovate; thrives in ambiguous environments.
Exceptional written, oral communication and presentation skills.
Extreme attention to details and strong problem-solving skills.
Proven efficiency in MS Excel and ability to create impactful and visual PowerPoints.
Experience with SPSS and/or Python are a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $95,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
