Description:
This position will work primarily with the LATAM region of CBG, primarily supporting the architectural paint business. The position will work with the LATAM Pricing Manager to support local management as well as key headquarters personnel to implement strategic pricing initiatives to maximize profitability and increase market share.

Core Responsibilities


Support Division Pricing activities

Development and implementation of price strategies.
Construct and implement pricing migrations.
Work directly with country personnel to update customer pricing attributes.
Ensure compliance with established pricing policies.

Promotional Review

Monitor promotional calendar.
Review proformas and provide feedback.
Ensure promotions support overarching pricing strategies.
Create serialized coupons for local countries.
Perform post-promotion analysis.

System Maintenance

Perform promotion and price list maintenance in Oracle.
Develop an understanding of system capabilities and limitations in Oracle Advanced Pricing and the Global Point of Sale.
Troubleshoot pricing issues beyond local team expertise.
Work with local Marketing and Finance teams to develop and execute promotions.
Identify future system enhancements to allow for strategy execution and reporting.

Provide local and Division management with key reporting and recommendations on pricing progress and opportunities.

Develop informative, actionable reporting to track progress of pricing initiatives and assist management in decision making.
Complete and consolidate monthly reports and distribute to leadership.
Work with EPI and exception reporting, involving local contacts to find opportunities to improve results.
Develop potential alternatives to EPI and other price performance metrics.

Test and validate data related to Pricing IT initiatives.

Provide prompt feedback by working directly with IT to expedite project completion.
Act as liaison between IT and local countries on pricing lead initiatives.

EDUCATION

Required:


Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting

Preferred:


MBA

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required:


5+ years of Financial experience.
Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate to all levels of organization.
Ability to communicate clearly, gain buy-in, and facilitate change.
Ability to analyze complex, large amounts of data.
Ability to take on complex tasks with little to no supervision.
Ability to think outside the box and challenge existing thought processes.
Ability to multitask and change focus quickly where business needs occur.

Preferred:


Prior experience working with an International division.
Prior Internal Audit Experience or experience working with PSG or CBG.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:


Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)

Preferred:


Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
Proficient in Oracle Advanced Pricing, AR, and OM modules.
Proficient in MicroStrategy and Dossier.
Proficient in Tableau and Tableau Prep
Familiarity with Micros Retail Global Point of Sale.
Familiarity with using relational databases such as SQL.
