Job Description: The ABCD Inc., based in Canton, OH, is hiring for multiple part-time Residential Energy Auditor positions in Stark County, OH, and Tuscarawas County, OH.
Residential Energy Auditors are responsible for overseeing and performing residential energy audits / assessments within the energy efficiency incentive program areas. They will also educate consumers on energy conservation and usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BPI certification (will be paid for by The ABCD Inc. if needed)
- Knowledge of residential energy conservation
- Preferred 5 years of relevant construction experience
- Preferred 3 years of relevant residential energy usage and / or utility programs
- Preferred OSHA certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of communication and client relationship
- Valid driver’s license with clean safety driving record
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully understands all program requirements and standards
- Completes Diagnostic Energy audits to program standards in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete formal write-up of home energy audit findings
- Develop detailed work scopes, pricing, measures and quantities to be completed by weatherization staff
- Responsible for operating Blower Door and Duct Blaster
- Responsible for combustion safety testing
- Fully understands forced air distribution, heating / cooling, energy modeling
- Educate consumers and clients regarding energy conservation measures
- Perform direct installation of weatherization improvements as needed

Details: Part time. 1st Shift. Hours/week varies (depending on how many homes need an audit / inspection). Monday through Saturday. $12,000/year to $15,000/year.
Qualifications: Vocational / technical degree or high school diploma / GED. BPI certification preferred (will be paid for by The ABCD Inc. if needed). Must use your own vehicle and tools. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License
