Job Description: Pondsco Facility Services has part-time and full-time Housekeeper / Janitor positions to support a retail center in Canton, OH.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean/maintain floors (vacuum, mop, carpet spotting)
- Clean/maintain surface areas (dust, sanitize, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing)
- Remove waste (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and adhere to all safety precautions
- Safely operate floor equipment (scrubbers)
- Report equipment/cleaning product needs, damages and/or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
- Represent facility in a positive manner; able to follow oral instructions, pleasant, tactful, courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, customers, security and management
- Follow assigned schedule
- Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
- Physical requirements of the job consist of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking
Details: Part time / full time. First, Second Shifts. 25 to 40 hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. $15.00/hour.
