Our interns provide support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the intern's area of study.
Job Description
PAID INTERNSHIP - Starting May 2024 -JOIN and SUPPORT ourGROWINGCopper and Brass Sales Division in Dayton, Ohio!
Learn organizational processes involving Salesforce, SAP, ADP and Microsoft Office.
Prepare material quotes.
Evaluate customer owned inventory and process requests.
Assist in qualifying and updating outside vendors.
Engage customers for additional value add opportunities.
Collaborate with staff for improving processes.
Meets thyssenkrupp Materials NA Employee Attributes / Competencies.
Intern Project Description:
Update vendor list for capabilities and contact information.
Improve margins on underperforming accounts (list of accounts provided and monitored).
Create "how to" training videos for Inside and Outside Sales representatives.

Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college. * Project planning skills.
Entry-level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Applicants should be competitive, assertive, and self-motivated.
Must have the ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment is critical.
Job Compensation
$15.00 - $18.00 based on experience
