Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 80 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 1st shift Food Production Summer Help to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am – approximately 3:15pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $16.25

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

Deboning Production

Utilizing a knife, inspecting and trimming defects without cutting off excess meat.
Performing all job functions which would involve work related to deboning a turkey.
Reworking any product that does not run through properly.
Wearing all required PPE and rotating with other team members as directed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment
