Overview




Oversees assessments, behavioral health treatments, case management, care coordination, and crisis intervention including providing interventions for detained youth in the Juvenile Intervention Center. This position works toward the goal of independent licensure and may be a time limited position.

Responsibilities




* Assesses and accurately documents client presenting problems including, history, symptomology, mental status, and diagnosis.
* Meets with client to assist in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals. Involves family in process when possible.
* Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent expectations.
* Effectively coordinates client care with other service providers, Juvenile Intervention Center staff and community resources to assure continuity of care.


Qualifications




Education Requirement:
* Master's from an accredited university or professional school, of Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, required.
* LPC or LSW or LMFT

Licensure Requirement: Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Skills:
* Demonstrated skills providing and managing behavioral healthcare.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
