Overview




We are seeking a fellowship coordiantor in the heart center. This position is resposible for planning, coordianting, implementing, and evaluating community education activities of NCH and its susidaries in calloboration with clinical, research, administrative and community partners. The coordinator is responsible for project/[rpgram development, fisca management, and aministrative support for assigned education activities.

Schedule: FT Beneifts Eligible, M-F

Location: Central Campus (700 Childrens Dr)

Responsibilities




Coordinates the initial and ongoing development of education programs, feasible study, needs assessment, financial analysis, and oversight of deficiencies/concerns
coordinates formative and summative evaluation of education programs
manages the files an databases to assure complete and accurate records
utilizes technology to enhance education
links community organizations with educations programs offereed by NCH.
Manages all meeting planning support such as facility arrangements, speaker letters, check-in, audiovisual and foods needs, confirmation letters, deposits, PO tracking and billing for education programs as well as preperation and distribution of promotonal materials
recommends and administers operations, expense, and capital budgets for assigned cost centers
coordinates with marketing, hospital and physician leaders, coordinators and program committee to increase the visibility of Children's educational programs
Participates in the development of an annual plan for community education that is consistent with strategic priorities
serves as back-up for scheduling of educational conference rooms and AV throughout CHI
organizes and participates in and, as appropriate, chairs education meetings
maintains CBISA and other reporting and regulatory initiatives as assigned
assists in the development of internal and external grant applications
participates in ongoing professional development activities
maintains sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic influences
