The Senior Marketing Manager, Upmarket Retention role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive revenue retention strategies, tactics, and execution for the upmarket customer base. This position will help develop, implement, and evolve customer sentiment modeling using data driven outcomes to determine what marketing actions will have the most positive lift in sentiment. This role will also work closely with the SMB Retention Marketing, Pricing Strategy and Competitive Intelligence teams to design and execute marketing programs that bend the curve on competitor gains in our market space. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing sciences, pricing, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and others to strategically determine projected revenue impacts, set improvement goals aligned to business revenue objectives, and then strategically prioritize activities that achieve those goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer experience.

What You'll Do

Partners closely with SMB Retention Marketing team to ensure strategic alignment and execution of all upmarket retention marketing activities.
Collaborate with marketing analytics and competitive intelligence teams using market share, flow share, downgrade, churn, competitive analytics outputs to devise, test, and implement competitive marketing tactics that improve actual outcomes over projected revenue loss.
Ensures strategies and tactics include thorough customer value proposition consideration, comprehensive execution across diverse communications channels, ongoing evaluation and efficacy reporting, and cross-functional input.
Serves as primary marketing point of contact for revenue retention activities targeting upmarket segments, including sentiment scoring, sales next best retention actions, retention marketing execution, and performance tracking.
Represents upmarket segments for ongoing retention decisions and maintains tight alignment with all marketing, pricing, and sales enablement teams.
Hosts market-level revenue retention plan launch calls and knowledge sessions with aligned Outsides Sales teams.
Facilitates company-wide cross-functional ownership with a focus to sustain and improve Upmarket revenue retention and customer sentiment by monitoring trends and identifying, assessing, and acting upon proven sentiment impacting drivers and customer experience improvements.
Partners with Brand, Creative, Product and Lifecycle Communications to ensure consistent messaging, positioning, and value proposition.

Who You Are

Minimum

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (marketing, communications, or business). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field, or 12 years' experience in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of retention marketing experience required
Strong presentation skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, including ability to effectively prioritize assignments.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Demonstrated "matrix management" experience and ability to drive programs and get things done in a virtual leadership environment.

Preferred

Master or MBA is desired.
4+ years of experience in a retention focused role leading cross functional projects preferred.
Experience in IT, Telecom, or related industry desired.

USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year
