Responsibilities
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on transportation projects starting in May/June 2024 and ending in August 2024.
Responsibilities include assisting engineers and technicians with civil and transportation engineering projects; assisting with engineering drawings, plan preparation, and project reports; and performing design calculations and quantity estimates. This internship primarily focuses on roadway and traffic design using MicroStation & Open Roads Designer. A valid driver's license is required.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
MicroStation/Open Roads Designer, or any other computer aided design/drafting software platforms
Civil/transportation coursework
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software programs
