Job Summary

Our Talent, Learning, & OD team is seeking an eLearning Instructional Designer Intern. As an eLearning Instructional Designer Intern, you will help build multimedia training solutions in collaboration with the TLOD Team, Subject Matter experts and our HRIS Team. As an Instructional Design Intern, you'll gain experience in the instructional design process for training and development materials and other e-products. Throughout your internship, you'll assist your team and the business by creating training and development programs that will engage team members from start to finish. You will also research and recommend new and innovative e-learning solutions that are compatible with our LMS system. He/She reports to the Director, Talent, Learning, & OD.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Plan and design engaging content to industry's standards using appropriate e-learning methodology
Collaborate with TLOD team on improvements to blended learning and recommend new and innovative ways of displaying content on our e-learning platform.
Develop content utilizing tools such as Articulate storyline and Captivate
Create SCORM files for videos and quizzes / assessments
Explore, evaluate, recommend, plan, develop and pilot new technologies
Maintain/edit training materials, archives and technologies
Assist in managing and maintaining our LMS and recommending new ways of displaying content
Collaborate and communicate with subject matter experts in visual, oral and written form
Contribute towards training related projects

Qualifications:

Have a sound understanding of end to end design and development experience from Instructional Design to delivery
Think creatively and bring digital learning content to life to engage user
Be prepared to work hard in a busy deadline orientated environment
Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly organized
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to work independently

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors/Masters in related field (or working toward)
Coursework in training and development and/or instructional design
Knowledge of adult learning theory including interactive learner-centered methodology
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Adobe products, Articulate, Photoshop, Captivate
