The Vice President Marketing will identify strategic growth opportunities, create customer-inspired, holistic solutions through unique combinations of capabilities and offerings across the Covetrus portfolio. Leads a team responsible for B2B marketing strategies, pricing and promotion plans and demand generation marketing execution across Covetrus's service lines including technology solutions, pharmacy, proprietary brands and compounding.

Successful candidates will have a revenue-based mind-set and utilize a combination of business strategy, customer analytics, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to develop a customer specific.

Oversee the development and execution of the overall B2B marketing strategies and growth plans across Covetrus solutions across technology solutions, online and in-clinic pharmacy, and compounding service lines.
Build compelling value propositions, sales materials, and marketing messages to communicate product benefits to drive awareness, lead generation and adoption by service line, product and category.
Define, design and implement modern marketing function and approach for Covetrus completing a full assessment of the current state of capabilities and identifying opportunities to transform.
As a member of the Commercial Leadership team, play an enterprise leadership role in driving growth across the enterprise.
Maintain and improve on existing tactical marketing efforts around demand generation, promotions and other specific activities necessary to position our business to win in the market
Partner with portfolio directors, supplier relations, sales, and operations teams to develop strategies aligned to preferred providers to drive share shift and customer compliance.
Develop and execute B2B and DTC marketing and growth plans, go-to-market strategies and promotions, demand generation campaigns and new product launch plans to achieve revenue and share targets for our Covetrus Proprietary Brand portfolio.
Be the voice of the customer and market keeping the company up-to-date on customer needs, market trends and competition; analyze data to develop actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and product roadmap
Create competitive analysis and market positioning assessment to clarify, position and establish Covetrus as the global leader animal health technology products and services.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for bringing new products and services to market, including differentiated value propositions, customer-focused product offerings, competitive pricing strategies and compelling communications and promotional strategies.
Develop comprehensive communication strategies, messaging, positioning and sales tools to including white papers, KOL engagement, PR and event opportunities and omni-channel demand generation plans.
Own the execution of all B2B marketing campaigns and deliver a closed loop measurement framework focused on driving customer experience and revenue.
Setup and lead a best-in-class product marketing mentality and culture, focusing on continuous improvement and exceeding customer needs.
Focus and guide the marketing team's activities through robust market research of competitors and developing market trends.
Identify and develop high-potential marketing talent to support the growth objectives of the organization.
Design and review the B2B Marketing department's budget, including forecasting hiring needs.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field. MBA preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

15+ years relevant marketing experience, including strategic positioning and messaging, sales enablement, competitive analysis, and product launches preferably in Veterinary or Human Healthcare. Sales or account management experience a plus.

Proven track record of developing and executing marketing and growth plans, compelling value proposition, communication strategies, and demand generation campaigns.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing marketing strategy in line with company objectives.
A solid knowledge of Sales & Marketing Strategy, Product Marketing, Pricing and Promotion
Exceptional leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead, present ideas and influence and inspire key stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and influencers and motivate and inspire teams.
Passional about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driven to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.
$196,800.00 - $365,600.00
