In this role,you will be a trusted business partner that solves business problems by delivering business insights with data-driven recommendations that directly impact our strategic business area(s).

Location: Working Remote USA or Orrville, OH

In this role you will:

Collaborate across Strategic Business Area Customer & Category Business (CCB) units to understand business problems, problem-solve, define appropriate solution (analysis, dashboard, presentation, model, report), and build solution that delivers the business need

Leverage insights as a transformational catalyst to differentiate JMS' thought leadership; informs a deep understanding of customer, category, and consumer dynamics byoptimizinga full suite of descriptive and inferential analytics

Demonstrate process improvement by simplifying analytics and business intelligence; create and maintain documentation best practices, streamlines, and builds a more efficient analytics approach

Continuously develop own capabilities in Syndicated data, Trade Promotion Management system, retailer data, JMS financial data, advanced Excel based statistical analysis, Structured Query Language (SQL), data visualization and presentation skills.

Collaborate with Customer & Category Business (CCB) to reduce retail opportunities, optimize assortment, product placement, store clustering, store testing and other ad-hoc strategic initiatives

Identify and quantify brand opportunities and distribution gaps. Collaborates & partners with Integrated Analytics Sales Analysts to define retailer sell-in strategy to build recommendation to sales teams

Collaborate with Customer & Category Business (CCB) to optimize pricing and promotional strategy; increase plan accuracy using exception-basedreporting

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field

At least 2+ years of relevant experience

Highly organized with a bias for action and results-oriented

Ability to prioritize, be resourceful and meet deadlines with accuracy

Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively, influence others, acting with a consultative, art of the question, seek to understand mindset

Demonstrated capabilities in gathering, analyzing, and presenting detailed information related to all aspects of business to audiences of diverse experiences

Continuous learning mindset with a focus on growth and professional development

Comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Experience with SQL

Proven experience championing insights based on data that can support issue resolution and initiative-taking opportunities to drive improvement

Experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, etc)

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

Collaborative partner with a keen focus on developing processes and procedures to improve team effectiveness

Experience with an object-oriented programming language (Python, R)

Experience with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.)

CPG experience
