Job Overview
Conducts initial and final inspection of machined parts in order to meet quality standards in the most cost-effective manner.
Key Job Responsibilities
Perform first piece inspections
Inspect all final dimensional characteristics prior to shipment
Initiate reject reports & tags to identify discrepancies
Repair and calibrate gage & testing equipment
Uses overhead cranes and hoists to move and position parts
Assists engineers and supervision to make improvements to parts, methods, and fixturing
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience in an Inspection environment (with gears a plus)
Computer experience a plus

Quality Gear Inspector
Pay range from $32.07 if off shift will add an additional $1.10
