Job Overview

In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. A full-time Occupational Medicine Resident position is available in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Essential Functions


Completion of required and elective clinical practice rotations and industrial practicum experiences
Completion of academic course requirements for the OM Residency
Completion of academic course requirements for Master of Public Health degree
Preparation for Board certification

Minimum Requirements


MD or DO degree in a US, Canadian or ECFMG - approved program
Successful completion of a PGY-1 (clinical year) in a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the College of Family Physicians of Canada
11 months of direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
International graduates must have either a current valid certificate from ECFMG or a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US licensing jurisdiction in which they are training
Passage of Steps I, II, and III of the US Medical Licensing Examination (MDs) or COMLEX-USA (DOs)

Required Education


Professional Degree
