Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Advanced Revenue Growth Management Initiatives, NRO

In this role you will operate as a true strategic consultant and trusted advisor. You will conduct deep data analysis leveraging multiple sources of data, distill actionable insights, and with the support and supervision of your manager and your team - work with cross-functional partners to craft solutions to meet the strategic revenue growth goals of multiple J.M. Smucker Co. categories. You will translate data into insights, identify topline/bottom line opportunities through key RGM levers (including but not limited to: Strategic Pricing, PPA (Price Pack Architecture), Mix Management, Trade Optimization etc.), drive accountability from teams other than your own and drive business results.

Location: Working Remote USA or Orrville, OH

In this role you will:

Serve as strategic consultant to commercial teams on problems that require quantitative and qualitative analysis including (but not limited to) strategic pricing, price pack architecture, long term channel growth solutions and other strategic issues

Help build strategic thought leadership in Revenue Growth Management

Develop and optimize new Revenue Growth Management approaches utilizing syndicated data, account specific data, JMS financial data, and data visualization.

Bring strategic solutions that drive top and bottom line growth

Help develop multi-year category revenue and profit growth plans

Map and analyze current and future business processes

Advise key work-streams, often in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Brand, Consumer & Category, Innovation, Finance, eComm, Sales, Legal, Operations, IS), providing and/or managing analytical support as appropriate.

You will also lead the implementation of NRO suite of tools and dashboards: Guide the development of such tools in collaboration with BI/Data Visualization teams and lead the rollout, training, maintenance and upgrading of such tools.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

At least 1 year of experience in Business Analytics or data analytics (can include internship)

Ability to gather, analyze and present data and insights to audiences of diverse experiences

Solution-oriented thinker with project management, critical thinking and communication skills

Passion in championing insights based on data that can support issue resolution and proactive opportunities to drive improvement

A relentless commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

Experience with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.)
