JobSummary:Work as the liaison between Engineering and Production to troubleshoot, create, and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture aluminum extrusions.

Required Education/Experience:

High school diploma required.

Must be a self-starter.

Hands on experience with an array of equipment and processes.

Must be able to read and write small numbers and letters; have ability to make arithmetic calculations.

Must be able to perform several tasks simultaneously.

Must be able to respond quickly to problems; have ability to work in a stressful environment.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form.

Must be able to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Must always follow plant-wide safety procedures.

Must pass a drug/alcohol screen. (Note: Accommodations will be made in accordance with The Americans with Disabilities Act).

Computer work will require the repetitive use of fingers, wrists, and arms.

Must successfully complete a ninety (90) day orientation period.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting in development, evaluation, and documentation of manufacturing processes.

Project work to improve upon safety, delivery, cost, and employee morale.

Provide hands on technical assistance to production, as needed.

Always exhibit a professional and positive approach.

When conditions dictate, overtime may be required (with little or no prior notification).
