The salary range for this position is $20 per hour.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

We are currently seeking an Aquatics and Program Operations Intern (work from home)

This position will work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings will be required during times of business need. Travel will also be involved up to 20% of the time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

The Training Services Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization. During the 10-week program, students receive training and develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. The 2024 Summer Internship program will run from May 29, 2024, through August 2, 2024.

The Aquatics and Program Operations Intern will be responsible for assisting with the comprehensive review of the Aquatic Examiner Service (AES) and program development. The intern will help to support the program planning and evaluation of AES and Observations as well as use the analysis to identify potential areas for growth and development multiple programs. The individual will support all daily activities of the team, such as reviewing and editing of Aquatic Examiner Reports, planning, preparation, and communication for service delivery programs. Other duties will include customer follow-up, evaluation, and analysis of customer feedback surveys to the programs. Assist in ongoing aquatic training and education for staff.

Responsibilities:
1: May support unit with research projects.
2: Typically analyze data, present facts, and recommend solutions.
3: May create, develop, or maintain databases for various lines of service events or projects.
4: Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management.
5: Conduct unit-specific responsibilities.

Scope: Learning aspects of the job. Assignments are received in task- oriented terms. Contacts primarily within immediate work unit.

Standard Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00PM

Pay Information:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications) A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required:

Education: High School or equivalentrequired. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours. Undergraduate Junior/Senior preferred. Preferred majors Business, Communications or Recreation.

Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience.
Management Experience: N/a
Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Lifeguarding Instructor level certification, lifeguarding experience.

Ability to work on a team.
