Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, Demand Planning

In this role you will be encouraged to share your diverse thoughts and ideas to drive continuous supply chain improvement and will be empowered to bring those ideas to life.

Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices

Work Arrangements: Hybrid, minimum of 30% in office expectations (approximately 6 days /month)

In this role you will:

Develop and maintain operational forecast by item, customer, and JMS distribution center in the Logility Demand Planning system.

Conduct monthly Demand Planning Review meetings to inform and gain consensus on operational forecast with Marketing, Finance, and Brand Commercialization

Participate in monthly meetings with Sales to collect, determine impact of, and incorporate market intelligence (i.e. competitive activity, retail trends and trade/consumer promotional activity) into the forecast

Collaborate with Marketing, Brand Commercialization, Customer Commercialization, Sales, and Portfolio Commercialization to generate operational forecast for Innovation launches at the item, customer, and JMS distribution center level. Monitor and adjust forecasts as necessary.

Analyze forecast performance via exception reporting and take appropriate action.

Work with Supply Planning, Customer Logistics, and Sales to review and resolve operational forecast issues and communicate resolution.

Support Process Improvement Projects and item transitions

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

3 years of relevant Supply Chain or Logistics experience

Excellent analytical and Excel skills with desire to solve problems

Strong communication and relationship building skills

Strong organizational skills and self-directed work style

Demonstrated ability to make decisions and recommendations to internal customers

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across various functional areas

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

APICS or IBF certification

Project experience with exposure to project management concepts and principles

Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional groups
