Summary:

The Regional Sales Trainer, is a key contributor within the Retail Sales Training department, supporting the overall strategy for enhancing sales and Guest experience training across Sleep Outfitters and Sleep Outfitters Outlet locations. This role involves collaborating with District Managers, Mentors, Market Coordinators, and cross-functional departments to implement effective training programs aimed at elevating the sales performance and development of retail Outfitters.

Pay Range: $44,000 - $62,000

What You'll Do:


Evaluate and enhance training curriculum and processes continually to ensure high-quality programs aligned with organizational goals.
Determine new training programs based on identified gaps and needs. Materials may include online modules, multimedia projects, instructor-led training, participant guides, performance support tools, and self-paced content.
Contribute to the development of in-store sales process documentation, training classes, and related materials, ensuring consistent deployment across all locations.
Assist in facilitating new product launch training, working closely with key stakeholders to align training content with marketing and product initiatives.
Collaborate with Marketing to design sales training materials supporting new product launches, promos, and educating Outfitters on future initiatives.
Collaborate with Retail Merchandising Manager in the creation of store-specific training for merchandise floor plans, in coordination with operations and sales leaders, to support the sales process.
Provide ongoing sales, guest experience, and product training in person and online to Outfitters.
Manage the communication calendar to ensure consistent and efficient communication is maintained through all departments including The Support Center.
Work with Human Resources to identify improvement areas and develop targeted training programs for onboarding, professional development, and performance management.
Collect and analyze data from Sleep Outfitters leadership to assess the need for additional training to meet store-specific objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of provided training.
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS).
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need:


Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years relevant work experience, leading training development, instructional design, and facilitation (in person and online) in a sales-based organization (consumer retail experience preferred)
Prior experience with the application of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and effective Learning and Development (L&D) methods
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Prior experience with start-up operations or store openings in a retail environment is a plus
Willingness to travel in stores 50%-60% (overnight travel 25%)
