About the Job

Inside the Role
This position is responsible for the shipping & receiving of material at Plant 3. Primary responsibilities include Loading & unloading material and completing documentation for shipping & receiving of product, making adjustments to data and exporting to excel spread sheets, consumption outputs, closing jobs with Navision, and performing as needed duties within the shipping and receiving department.

Starting pay of $19.00/hr. up to top pay of $26.81/hr.*
Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential

*additional shift differential for off-shifts

What You Drive at DTNA

Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
Use of computer, RFID scanner, phone, hand tools, fork lift, plastic wrapper.
Proficiency in Navision, Microsoft office, communication skill& knowledge required.
Properly identify inventory by learning identification numbers when shipping & receiving inventory.
Professional Communication skills with vendors.
Knowledge of computers, tablets, printers, and scanners
Operate hoist, hand tools, forklift, hand truck, and picker.
Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Adhere to established work rotation plan
Complete training matrix for each rotation position
Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
Other tasks and/or duties as requested

Knowledge You Should Bring

Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Experience in Navision and Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of computers & scanners
Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently (option to use hoist), with periodic lifts of up to 75lbs, (use hoist for heavier items)
Read, understand and complete documentation
Willingness to cross-train throughout the area
Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating

Must maintain a clean work area.
Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
Cross train on other jobs as required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

Proficient in NAV functions/movements
Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
Previous shipping & receiving experience
High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus
