Are you eager to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of millions of people? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and feed off collaborating with others to solve problems? Do you want to do consequential work that shapes a growing business? Do you love leading diverse project teams to successful execution of goals? If this describes you and you've got a track record of success doing this work, you've come to the right place!
CoverMyMeds (CMM) is growing fast and with growth comes change. The Business Operations team is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to lead the intentional planning & execution of high priority initiatives and projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading one or more of our complex strategic initiatives in partnership with CMM leaders. Through a consultative approach, you'll have the opportunity to influence highly visible strategic priorities that comprise the fiscal year strategic plan.
This work can't be done by just one person, so you'll work in partnership with business leaders and their teams across the CMM business segment and involves tight collaboration with enabling functions (HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Strategy & Business Development), as well as McKesson Centers of Excellence, including Org & Change and Learning & Development and your colleagues on the Business Operations Team. We believe the more the merrier!
Your success in this role is not only defined by the success of the various initiatives you are able to manage, but also by the lasting impact you are able to enact upon our organization. Your role will be to create a culture of growth and showcase success through on time delivery across the various initiatives under your area of responsibility.
Position Description and Key Responsibilities:
In partnership with others, the Sr. Project Manager, Business Operations is responsible for driving successful execution of key business initiatives. This work will require you to:

Be responsible for coordination of all project stakeholder groups and workstreams through the project lifecycle for successful delivery of assigned business and technology projects on-time and on budget with minimal defects as measured by project metrics established at project inception.
Act as an intermediary between business and technical teams for identification and interpretation of critical requirements related to project delivery.
Manage conflict resolution to ensure successful project outcomes.
Work closely with executive sponsors and clients for thorough project discovery and vetting. Responsible for the comprehensive development of business cases and justifications for new projects.
Accelerate and coordinate the execution of initiatives with tailored project management. This requires learning the business landscape, understanding business requirements and stakeholder expectations, an awareness of the "big picture", alignment-building and influencing, and creative problem solving. It's specialized, customized, and optimized activation work at its core.
Build and execute against plans; track and report progress; mitigate business risk by highlighting critical issues to program leadership early.
Highlight possible dependencies or sources of conflict or alignment between initiatives
Design workshops, meetings, or other forums for efficient and effective alignment and decision-making.
Realize the value delivered and broadcast it to the organization. Be responsible for validating the value proposition for each initiative supported and, in alignment with our communications team, make sure all the right people know how the initiative is helping to improve CMM.
Build organizational commitment to changes through change management best practices. While you aren't required to be an expert in change management, you will be advantaged in understanding the core principles and identifying areas of risk for resolution.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
