McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a high performer to join our growing MPS Software Development team. MPS offers an array of integrated pharmacy software solutions for the health care industry. Current Need:

McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a high-performing servant leader to function as a Senior Scrum Master (SSM) to join our MPS research and development team. MPS offers an array of integrated pharmacy software solutions for the health care industry. Our systems are used to manage thousands of pharmacies nationwide within the independent, chain, hospital, and specialty market segments.

Position Description:

We are seeking a leader that will inspire our teams to achieve fantastic results.The Senior Scrum Master (SSM) will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the Agile teams on Lean Agile Practices.As a contributor within the McKesson Pharmacy research and development (R&D) team, you will work in a collaborative and highly skilled Agile team.

EnterpriseRx is an enterprise class software solution that manages pharmacy workflow activities and increases revenue into pharmacies. The SSM ensures clear communication and organization of all team commitments, their progress, and any impediments. The SSM must be effective in facilitating agile meetings, such that team members collaborate in delivering the business goals. The SSM will ensure team members communicate and collaborate with one another, so they effectively operate as a "high performing team". The SSM must be able to identify any impediments that come in the way for the team and influential in getting them resolved quickly. The SSM must ensure there's a balance between commitment and flexibility by rapidly responding to any changes to the business needs. The Sr. Scrum Master role is a full-time role that requires the individual to manage two or more Agile Teams within an Agile Release Train.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree or equivalent and typically requires7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, coaching Scrum XP and/or Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises (SAFe) principles and practices.

Critical Skills

7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, identifying and eliminating impediments and facilitating flow

2+ years of experience designing, building and implementing Kanban Service Delivery Systems

Experience in leading a commercial software engineering teams strongly desired

Expertise in collaborating with key stakeholders in managing expectations and in communicating any changes

Experience in actively managing and resolving risks and impediments to improve team performance in meeting the goals

Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership and mindset, and helps team embrace SAFe Principles and implement practices

Facilitates the team's progress towards its goals by helping them to challenge the status quo, while focusing on delivering the iteration goals and the program increment objectives

Leads the team through relentless improvement by effectively facilitating retrospectives

Facilitates agile meetings at set cadence, where the team members and shared services collaborates and communicates and emerges as a self-organized team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience giving and receiving feedback, both positive and critical

Additional Skills:

Experience prioritizing technical improvements in a product roadmap a plus

Energetic, passionate and creative leader who values people, relationships, and performance

Knows the 12 principles of the Agile Manifesto. Experience leading a software development team with those first.

Hunger for personal and professional growth, both as an individual and as an organization

Proven ability to drive activities to closure while pursuing excellence

Innovative mindset

Experience working on HIPAA compliant projects

Experience working in Cloud PaaS (Microsoft Azure preferred)

Education:

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or STEM field

Certifications:

Certified Scrum Master with active license required

Certified SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master preferred

Certified Project Manager professional preferred

Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$101,900 - $169,900
