How You'll Perform the Role
Provides timely and efficient technical support troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintenance of machinery/equipment throughout the assigned manufacturing facility. Under guidance of Plant Maintenance Manager, serves as point person for most difficult maintenance issues.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and industry regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Collaborates with the safety team to identify and address potential hazards.
Diagnoses and performs repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components integrated into our controls systems; serves as contact point for escalated maintenance problems.
Assists in development of capital projects.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas for management or maintenance staff.
Verifies that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
Recommends modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Stay updated on latest advancements in control system technology and automation and may attend vendor training for any new or existing equipment, as necessary.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production managers and team members, and other technicians, to support projects and resolve issues promptly.

What We Need From You
High school diploma or GED; technical degree/some college preferred.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance/production environment.
Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls - preferred.
Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs a plus.
Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience in manufacturing strongly preferred.
Experience operating forklift equipment: forklift certification (will certify on site)
Familiar with all OSHA and GMP standards & requirements
Strong computer and math skills; experience with work order/inventory systems preferred i.e., SAP.
Demonstrated mechanical/analytical skills; ability to interpret/create engineering drawings.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
