Job Description Summary
American Axle is growing! AAM is looking to fill a Maintenance Planner position to support the Twinsburg, Ohio Manufacturing Facility team.

As Maintenance Initiatives Planner, you act as owner of the maintenance and energy conservation initiatives by collaborating with the management team to identify performance indicators, set and manage goals that prioritize equipment and resources.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing change initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Collaborates with management team to Identify performance indicators aimed at the prioritization and preservation of equipment and resources.
Communicates initiatives to support the achievement of set goals.
Leads activities that are aimed at achievement of set goals.
Collects, tracks and utilizes data to evaluate performance against targets.
Presents information to management team on results of initiatives.
Other duties deemed necessary by Maintenance Department Manager.

Required Skills and Education

Completed degrees or relevant certifications in Maintenance or manufacturing field OR combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in a maintenance role in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
