Four days in the office and one day remote

Hours are 8am to 5pm

Pay is $24/hr

Currently hiring for 2 Supply Chain and Logistics Interns

10 week summer internship starting June 3rd and concluding August 9th

Job Description Summary: The Carrier Operations Intern will be responsible for the ongoing development, training and support of systems related to the carrier life-cycle process. These are used for securing, monitoring and releasing of carriers in the AMG Distribution network. The Carrier Operations Intern will learn existing processes and systems and will work together with the Logistics and Distribution teams to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop enhancement to such processes and systems.

The Carrier Operations Intern will gain experience in the areas of Logistics, Distribution, Safety, Quality and Analytics.

Carrier Team Operations

Work with procurement to track carrier contract expiration dates, renewals, price adjustments, etc.

Track regulatory Carrier compliance, e.g., FDA, DOT, and other Government compliance requirements.

Partner with the Finance and Accounting department on carrier financials.

Continuous Improvement

Development and implementation of systems and processes to reduce data errors. Identify areas where we can leverage work done in other Air Liquide sectors / regions. Leveraging the use of analytic, decision and information systems within the organization and supply chain team

Collaborate with multiple departments to measure carrier Key Performance Indicators. Manages performance against objectives on a regular basis.

Required Qualifications

Currently working towards a graduate or undergraduate degree, a focus in Supply Chain, Logistics, or business administration preferred

Ability to learn and utilize Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

Strong Mathematical abilities including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentages

Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior internship experience preferred
