Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst

Full Time Regular

SUMMARY:  The purpose of this position is to be a working member of the company’s D365 Implementation team to research, develop and overall streamline all critical business processes by providing advanced processing analysis, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and an understanding of business requirements gathered using strong business and technical skills to design and implement proven solutions that address business challenges. This position will sustain the Mission and Motto and Food Safety and Quality Statement of the Mennel Milling Company. 

PRIMARY WORK SHIFT: This position works Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation. 

•    Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.

•    Possess deep knowledge of business best practices, specifically in the areas of Finance, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain.

•    Activity communicates and demonstrates the value of Dynamics solutions to internal customers with the goal of delivering solution designs to deliver business value.

•    Assist in identifying and creatively solving complex business challenges, envisioning, and enabling critical processes, and helping the business achieve their objectives leveraging Dynamics 365 capabilities. 

•    Acts as a discovery lead: learn the most important business challenges and needs and uncover those problems that are unspoken, and ultimately assist in implementing a solution that will enable the business to achieve their goals. 

•    Elicits, analyzes, and validates business needs of key stakeholders by planning, facilitating, and documenting requirements’ gathering / discovery workshops. 

•    Provide expert overview & deep-dive product demonstrations and position the unique value of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations and related platforms to address client requirements. 

•    Aligns with stakeholders to convert business requirements into capabilities, features, and acceptance criteria. 

•    Translates conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and the project team.  

•    Identifies and analyzes risks and issues for the program or project in conjunction with project/program managers. 

•    Ability to define reporting requirements on behalf of the end users. 

•    Strong ability to communicate with non-technical end users is critical to success in this role .

•    Ability to travel up to 40%

•    Other duties may be assigned. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory duties.


QUALIFICATIONS: 
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job. 

•    A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365. 

•    Experience with systems integration. 

•    Excellent skills with Microsoft D365 or equivalent. 

•    Strong Skills in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook 

•    Proficiency in the following: Operations security implementation and integration components, Microsoft Azure Server Management and DB; SQL and Azure database administration. 

•    Self-motivating and able to oversee multiple small and medium sized projects through to completion with limited oversight. 

•    Possesses strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while demonstrating the ability to multiple task with attention to detail. 


LANGUAGE SKILLS: 
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures, and plans. Ability to write, complete checklists and other basic documentation and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information or data in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers, supervisors, and managers.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: 
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Must use solid judgment when making decisions. Must have ability to quickly recognize and plan for changing work duties and events.
