Job Summary:
As a CNA/STNA at Premier Nursing Network, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our patients. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of those under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and positioning techniques.
Meal Assistance: Assist patients with meals, including feeding, if necessary, and ensure they receive adequate nutrition.
Hygiene and Comfort: Ensure patients are clean and comfortable, changing bed linens and clothing as needed.
Medication Reminders: Assist with medication reminders under the direction of the nursing staff.
Reporting: Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and document observations accurately.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
Infection Control: Follow Infection Control protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean healthcare environment.
Comfort and Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
