The Cleveland Racquet Club is looking for an experienced Server to join our awesome team on a part-time basis. We offer benefits for employees who work more than 30 hours a week including a free meal with your shift. Our club closes early on Saturday and Sunday so you will not need to work into the wee hours of the morning!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sets up workstation and performs assigned opening duties and side work
- Delivers excellent customer service and exemplifies professionalism
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon arrival
- Distributes food and drink menus; answers questions
- Takes members’ and guests’ orders and enters into system accurately
- Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions
- Assembles food and serves meals
- Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishes beverages and food items
- Clears tables, keeps areas clean
- Advises supervisor or acting manager of any complaints as soon as they occur
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the dining room captain (dining room supervisor, dining room manager or outlet manager)
- Thanks members and guests; invites them to return
- Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests

- Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends when needed
