Automotive Technician Apprentice
Part-Time Work Schedule.
Do you love learning and have entry-level mechanical skills? Then we want you as our next Automotive Technician Apprentice ! Grow your knowledge and get your hands dirty under the hoods of a variety of makes and models. Then, complete up to 12 weeks of training and you'll become an Entry Level Technician. In other words, we've already got a promotion planned for you!

What You'll Do:
Work closely with a mentor while progressing through the apprenticeship, getting daily guidance and learning new skills.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Perform assigned work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Interact and coordinate with Manheim associates in day-to-day work.
Perform other duties as assigned by mentor, supervisor, or manager.
Who You Are:
You're a car lover who's passionate about acquiring new skills. You have the following qualifications:
Minimum:
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Must have attended or currently attending an Automotive Program.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Complete up to 12 weeks of training and acquire requisite ASE certifications to be considered an Entry Level Technician.
Must continue training to maintain current ASE status once obtained and stay current with technology.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED (or 1+ years of related work experience).
6+ months experience in a mechanical position.
Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree is preferred

USD 13.08 - 19.62 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $13.08 - $19.62/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
